DAY 5: Breakfast and lunch included

After an early breakfast at 07h30 we depart at 08h00 from Sutherland towards Ouberg Pass. At the top of Ouberg Pass you will see an incredible view for 100km over the width of the Tankwa Karoo. Travelling down the pass we get onto the plains where we will stop for refreshments, soup or coffee in winter and something cooler in summer, before continuing to the Boland.

Driving through Ceres and over two short passes, we turn towards the Breede River valley where we will have lunch on a farm. The Breede River valley has spectacular vineyards lying under the Limietberg mountains.

After lunch it is an easy but spectacular 1,5-hour drive over Bain's Kloof Pass back to Cape Town. (Total distance 366km.)
