· INTERESTS – What do you expect to see and experience, what to concentrate on, eg fishing, birding, big 5?
· BUDGET – What do you expect to pay and get in return, lodges/chalets all the time, upmarket camping, a combination or budget trip?
· WHERE – Country/area distances to be covered, swamps, desert?
· TRAVEL – Fly-in dates, which airport, travel by plane, boat or 4x4?
